Talks: The Microbiology and Biotechnology Community

The second edition of our Talks was again extremely rewarding! This one was held online on the last Tuesday, November 17th, to an audience of 55 participants and can be seen here.

During one hour, our researchers presented an overview of some of its current activities such as the genome-scale metabolic model of the Cork Oak tree, comprising over 8000 reactions and including pathways regarding the plant secondary metabolism, and the YEASTRACT+ portal, a curated repository of regulatory associations for several different yeast species.

We would like to thank all participants for their interest and also the Microbiology and Biotechnology Community, in particular Isabel Rocha, Isabel Sá-Correia, Miguel Rocha, Miguel Teixeira, Oscar Dias, and Pedro Monteiro for their availability and enthusiastic engagement.

Make sure you don’t miss the next Talks where we will be talking about our Marine Metagenomics Community. Save the date and see you there!
